Hey there! I'm Laurence, I'm a programmer and the voice behind "thethriftescape". I guess you're here to know a bit about me, huh? I'm not good at talking about myself, but will give it a try. Aside from chocolates/sweets I love travelling. If you've read some of my blog, I always have it or buy some chocolates when I travel. I started travelling when I had my first solo backpacking trip. From there on, I started making my travel blog. But not really promoting it. And just share it to few people who wanted to travel or do solo backpacking too. Now, I have my own blog that I can share it with everyone! I like travelling, but don't want to spend too much (yup! thrifty traveller here :P) So when I go for a trip, I always make sure to do it on a budget, as much as possible. Rogers Cup – Aviva Center

I’ve been waiting for Rogers Cup in Toronto, unfortunately Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer weren’t able to participate in this year competition ?. Anyway, I bought my ticket for C$25.

Anyway, it was a great experience to see a live tournament ?
Novac Djokovich claims his 3rd Rogers cup championship 🙂 (Congrats Novac!)

Well I wasn’t able to watch the finals, due to time constraint, and not to mention the ticket price, ?.

Rogers cup is held every last week or July in Toronto. It lasted for 1 week, from July 25 – July 31, 2016.
This year its the Men’s tournament, Women’s tournament was in Montreal.

There are also freebies at the end of the game, I got 2 small packs of ground coffee ?

Next year, hoping to see Serena in Toronto ?
