- Evidence of planned tourism activities in Australia. Plot your itineraries/activities in a document. Here’s an example of our itinerary.
- Evidence of the financial Status and funding for visit. Request for a Certificate of Employment, 3 recent payslips, Tax slips (optional), Bank Statement or Bank Certificate.
- Visa for country of residence (and right to return). This will be your passport or if you’re a permanent resident of another country, this should be included too.
- Evidence of current employment or self employment. This pertains to certificate of employment, payslips, if you have a letter of approved vacation leaves, you can add it too.
- Group details (group name list itinerary). If you already booked a tour, you may attached the confirmation of it. – we didn’t attach any documents as we didn’t avail any tour groups .
- Exceptional reasons for extended stay in Australia as a Visitor (beyond 12 months). – we didn’t attached any documents on this one, since we are not planning to extend our stay.
Once you have reviewed your application and attached all the required documents, you are ready to submit your application at any time. And pay a $140 AUD for the processing fee.
Once you submit your application, there will be an email for your receipt and all you need to do is wait. It might take 15-27 days to process the application. But in our case, it took 1 week. We received our visa (granted) in email. This will need to be printed and presented in immigration officer when it’s time to visit Australia. The validity we got in our visa is 1 year with 3 month length of stay in each arrival (multiple entries).
