Eternal Flame Falls in New York
Have you seen the eternal flame falls in New York? Here’s how and surprisingly not that far.
If you happen to visit Buffalo, New York, don’t forget to visit this place which is just 40mins hike. It’s not if it’s summer, but also stunning in winter, just be extra cautious ?
So how does the flame stays behind the falls? I want to explain but I’m afraid I’m might relay or explained it incorrectly. So might as well google it for more accurate details ?
How to go to Eternal Flames Falls? You have to go to Chestnut Ridge Park and look for parking area. Actually there’s 2 places where you can park, the one place, is a parking place, while the other is you just have to park in the side roads. But either way, it will be the same hike to Eternal Flame Falls.
We arrived at the side road park, and just follow the pathway. As we were walking, we saw this fire sign, with numbers, so we thought we are pretty close.
We went there in summer time, it’s a pretty easy hike, but just wear like comfortable shoes or rubber shoes, cause some paths are slippery. On our way there, these trees are so pretty. Just can’t help but take a photo of it.
Another small falls in the area.
And here it is, the Eternal Flames Falls.
During that time, the flame is not the big, but it is still lit. And it amazes me, how the fire is still lit behind the falls, with wet surface.
We actually did some of our engagement photos here. And it was awesome.
Nice post!
