Hey there! I'm Laurence, I'm a programmer and the voice behind "thethriftescape". I guess you're here to know a bit about me, huh? I'm not good at talking about myself, but will give it a try. Aside from chocolates/sweets I love travelling. If you've read some of my blog, I always have it or buy some chocolates when I travel. I started travelling when I had my first solo backpacking trip. From there on, I started making my travel blog. But not really promoting it. And just share it to few people who wanted to travel or do solo backpacking too. Now, I have my own blog that I can share it with everyone! I like travelling, but don't want to spend too much (yup! thrifty traveller here :P) So when I go for a trip, I always make sure to do it on a budget, as much as possible. And to attain this, I search a lot. I know, there are some people like me, who wants to travel the world on a budget. Or just looking for some itineraries for a certain city/country. So to pay it forward, I share my blog about my travel experiences with itineraries, tips and budgets. Let’s connect! and Tavel More! Say hello to me at [email protected]
Unfortunately I forgot to take a pictures of the Fira Backpackers hostel. Nonetheless, it was ok too. What I don’t like, since our room is just beside the entrance, I can hear other tourist having party outside. So I had a hard time sleeping.
Santorini!!!The flight just took 45 minutes from Athens ? I arrived around 7:00 pm.The Santorini airport is small.I found the bus to Fira at the front of the airport and the fare is €1.80 to Fira Bus terminal.
The Athens Backpackers hostel is OK too. Most of the tourist spots in Athens are walking distance from the hostel. The room was OK, and there’s also washroom inside the room plus lockers. Sockets are in the corner and dressing table.
I didn’t expect that Aegean serves lunch. It’s not even a long flight…but still Thank you for the food ?After 3 hours flight from Amsterdam to Athens..here I am, Greece!!!
