Hey there! I'm Laurence, I'm a programmer and the voice behind "thethriftescape". I guess you're here to know a bit about me, huh? I'm not good at talking about myself, but will give it a try. Aside from chocolates/sweets I love travelling. If you've read some of my blog, I always have it or buy some chocolates when I travel. I started travelling when I had my first solo backpacking trip. From there on, I started making my travel blog. But not really promoting it. And just share it to few people who wanted to travel or do solo backpacking too. Now, I have my own blog that I can share it with everyone! I like travelling, but don't want to spend too much (yup! thrifty traveller here :P) So when I go for a trip, I always make sure to do it on a budget, as much as possible. And to attain this, I search a lot. I know, there are some people like me, who wants to travel the world on a budget. Or just looking for some itineraries for a certain city/country. So to pay it forward, I share my blog about my travel experiences with itineraries, tips and budgets. Let’s connect! and Tavel More! Say hello to me at [email protected]
We left at 10:00am. Yeah, I know, it’s kinda late…LOL. I’m excited, this is it! The happiest place on earth, haha! We just chose Tokyo DisneySea. They said that the rides are better than Disney Land
We arrived at Shinjuku at 7am, we need to ride trains from Shinjuku station to Asakusabashi (I think we changed line twice). We bought One Day Economy Pass ticket for Tokyo Metro Subway and Toei Line. It’s worth it, especially for us, who sometimes ride the wrong train. ?
We left the hostel at 10:00 am, again, we’re late.. There’s a long line on each Bus Station, we already bought the ¥500 Kyoto City Bus Pass in our Hostel.
And the time has come ? Arrived at Kansai Airport at 9:30 pm, Japan time (our flight got delayed for an hour). Bought JR-West Rail Pass for ¥2000 (Haruka Train), this is bound to Kyoto, cheaper than one way ticket to Kyoto, which is ¥2890.
We bought are plane tickets thru Cebu Pacific promo, for ₱5,000 round trip! ? I’ve been to Japan last 2012, so we had an easy time on planning our itinerary, besides, they also wanted to see the tourist spots that I’ve been to.
Back to Osaka After 8 hours of travel in bus, I’m finally in Umeda Sky Building. While I’m walking, I remember I need to put my netbook to my luggage. Wait, I can’t find it! ?
Sensoji Temple I woke up, 7:00 am in the morning and decided to take a shower later. We wanted to see the temple with few people. And it’s close to the hostel. I wanted to try the fortune (I don’t know what’s it called)
