Solo Backpacking in Europe: Amsterdam – StayOkay Vondelpark
Stayokay Vondelpark. I recommend this place as it is close to most of the Amsterdam tourist spots.
Breakfast is included.
You can also ask them to print your boarding pass ??
But the washroom inside the dorm rooms, are too small and doesn’t have curtains. Just be careful not to wet your dry clothes, if you have them with you.
And there’s no outlet near your bunk bed. Though there are some inside the room.
Breakfast is also good. Eat all you can ?
If you arrived early, you can leave your things at their storage room. Locker fee is €0.80 per hour.
This looks like a fab, fuss free place to stay whilst backpacking! Definitely going to read your other posts on Amsterdam~

I have never stayed in an accommodation like this one. This is the one where you have someone sharing the room with you right? You’re brave. I don’t think I can do it but the idea of saving a lot of money is tempting.
I’m obviously far too pampered in life as I would never consider staying in a hostel. It’s 4 stars or better for me! Looks like you worked out the best way to do it for you though 🙂
This looks like so much fun. I would love to solo backpack around Europe and get a taste of local traditions one day!
I enjoy my comfort and space too much to stay at accommodations such as this. I like that you shared the negative aspects as well as the positive ones.
I have always dreamed of solo backpacking, but I guess at my age, that would be way too late for me now. Especially when I have to always be reminded to take my medications. I would consider staying in a hostel if I were younger and traveling alone. However, right now, I would always seek for comfort in my own private room at a hotel.
I have never stayed in a hostel before, but this does look pretty clean and puts my mind at ease about staying at one!
This looks like such a peaceful place to relax! I enjoyed looking at the photos.
Beautiful photos! When I decide to start traveling I will have a lot of my bucket list!
This is a beautiful post! I love the photos that you’ve included.
