A Visit to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab

As we didn’t make it to our hotel in Utah because of the snow storm, we had to switched our itinerary. Instead of going to Bryce Canyon First, we ended up going to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab.

Best Friends Animal Sanctuary is a no-kill sanctuary. I hope every shelter will just have no-kill rule.

We wanted to go here, ’cause I saw someone who posted in social media about the place and the food they offer for the visitors. They have plant-based menu with a nice view. I was surprised cause it’s really good. There’s a place where you can have an event here. Which is really pretty.

I booked a reservation to see the dogs and cats, but since our date changed. We chose to see the horses. It can be fully booked so you might want to reserve quickly if you are planning too.

We were still able to see some cats at the registration and made donation to the sanctuary. I think every December, they always do donation matching.

They have a place where the angels laid to rest, and it’s called Angel’s rest, which is really sweet. Again I hope every animal will have experience the love that they deserve.
