Visit to Las Vegas for the First Time
Visit to Las Vegas for the First Time. We planned to wake up early to avoid to much people in Seven Magic Mountains. As I want to have a photo of it with people-free ?. So we left around 7:00 am and and we’re there around 7:30 am. Well, others too ?, but at least there’s just a few, and it’s great!
Seven Magic Mountains, it’s just so colorful and awesome!, There are so pretty, not sure if that’s the right word actually.
Time to go around the Las Vegas strip ?
Our hotel actually gave us some guide on where to park, and it’s free. The hotel staff circle all those places. Here is the copy of it.
Since Planet Hollywood is closer to all the places we want to go, we decided to park there. So we start our walk (a dreaded walk ?)
In the morning, the weather is a bit hot, but it’s tolerable. So we started walking to look for the New York New York Hotel & Casino. So along the way we saw the M&Ms and Coca Cola store too.
When we’re done, we went to Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino.
We are so hungry and there’s so many choices, but we settled to try Gordon Ramsay Burger.
Well, we’re not really surprise to be so good ?
OK, so we are so full, and “I” really wanted to walk, so I asked my boyfriend, if he’s OK to walk to Las Vegas sign, which is 30 mins walk from where we are. He’s OK with it, and I’m OK with it too. But what I didn’t know, is it’s really hot, so much hot, that it’s like someone is burning you, ?. At least we had waters. By the time we made it, well almost, we stopped first to a convenience store, to get some Powerade, and noticed that my face was so red! That’s how hot it was, 45 degrees Celsius!
We rest for a bit, to cool down. And went to Las Vegas sign to take a picture. Just hoping the line is not to long. Well thankfully it’s not, a little though. It just took us 20 mins to wait.
There’s a guy that will take a photo of you, free of charge, but you can always give him donations which is not bad, consider that it’s really hot, and the guy had been standing there, for God knows how long, so a little amount would be really appreciated.
We saw Elvis too, beside the Las Vegas sign and a couple that was getting married, cool!
When we’re done, we don’t really wanna walk, so we took an Uber to get back to Planet Hollywood Hotel & Casino. We had a free show tickets, apparently the upper box is full, so we weren’t able to use our free show tickets.
We just went to Bellagio to watch the fountain show ?
We decided to rest and get back to the hotel. We got tired of the weather ’cause it’s so hot, but we had a good time.
The next day, we didn’t go to The Venetian, since I already went to Macau and Venice, and might see the same thing ? so we just rest and relax and get ready for Los Angeles.
It is a dream of mine to visit Las Vegas. Thank you Laurence for those tips will definitely plan a trip.
Seems like you had the ultimate Vegas experience! Elvis impersonators, people eloping and all. Love it!
Honestly, Las Vegas is one of my least favorite places to visit. Too much opulence and sex oozing everywhere. But, if a take a break from being a grump for a second, there are actually some really interesting things to see there and a vibrant local culture, too. So pay no attention to my grumpiness haha! Thanks for sharing!
I have never been but would love to one day. Ramsey Burger has left me drooling haha. Also the seven magic mountains look like giant colourful marshmallows! Glad you had a pretty good time!
We’ve only been to Vegas once but did not know about the 7 Magic Mountains! That would have been neat to see because we walked the strip to see the hotels but did not gamble so didn’t spent too much time there.
Sounds you had a great vacation in Las Vegas! I’ve been to Las Vegas twice and I love it 🙂 I had never heard about the 7 magic mountains, so I’ll definitely will check them out next time.
Las Vegas is such a crazy place. I do love it though. I’ve been 3 times now and really no need to go back. Glad you had a good time seeing the sites!
When I went to Vegas I didn’t do nearly as much. The magic mountains look so cool! I wish I’d gone to see them.
Wow, you got a lot into your Las Vegas itinerary. I’m impressed, I would have been so tired doing a whirlwind of siteseeing. The Vegas restuarant photos also look delicious. Made me pretty hungry! LOL
I haven’t been to Las Vegas and if ever I would be here someday, I would read this post! Already bookmarked! Thanks!
This post came at right time. A friend of mine is planning a trip to Las Vegas and would definitely going to forward this post to her. It is also in my bucket list… more as a dream place to visit once in a lifetime. Bookmarked this post. Thanks.
I am not more curious about any other destination than I am about Las Vegas. I am sure that if I visit Las Vegas, I’ll be back as a bankrupted individual. Haha
I remember my first trip. Man what an experience- I was shocked how HOT HOT HOT VEGAS gets omg. I can’t wait to go back. I feel like I missed out on so much.
One of my favorite cities in the world and I lived there for a year when I was younger. Did you go gambling in the casino?
Yeah but we lost and stop after that haha
It’s been a dream of mine to visit Vegas for a long time – mostly because I play poker, but it also looks awesome. Seems you had an amazing adventure! Really cool to see the couple getting married 🙂
I haven’t ever been but from the pictures it looks really good. I am going to have to add it to my bucketlist.
The photographs are amazing. great guide for first-timers which i will refer to for my trip to Vegas. The fountains look awesome
This reminds me of our trip to Las Vegas in 2016. We had a great time. LV is much more than a gambling city. Mirage was our abode for 3 days in Las Vegas.
Amazing! Las Vegas is such a fun place and your post has some great recommendations.
I am planning for Las Vegas for my next trip to west coast in Americas. I loved the seven Magic mountains photo taken by you. Thanks for sharing all tips and details for first timers.
I’ve never been to Las Vegas since I’m not so much into party places. Although I must admit that you make it sound pretty inviting – so maybe one day….
I love Vegas, such a fun city. It’s great that you’ve included lots of other things to do rather than just gambling.
Loved Vegas and I’ve been to majority of these except the 7 mountains! It’s a bit out of way for me as I was travelling alone. And that burger, I so miss that!
so Las Vegas was never really a place that stood out to me as a place i wanted to go , but honestly this looks amazing! Especially the burger. and the 7 mountains . haha <3
Haven’t ever been to Vegas and it’s never really appealed to me either, but recently I’m finding myself more and more drawn to it. Especially as it has M&M and Coca Cola store! We have an M&M store in London, but what’s the Coca-Cola store about?! It sounds like you packed in so much!!
Never been to Vegas before but it is really high on my list! Was thinking of going for my 21st but it was just so expensive haha. Glad you had such a good time man 🙂
Vegas is the dreamiest, most debaucherous land ever! I (almost) got married at the chapel there, but it happened to be closed that night haha. Probably for the best. Anyway, your adventure looked amazing too and drooling over that food 🙂
Your pictures are stunning! I haven’t been in Las Vegas in so many years I should go back!
Las Vegas is so fun. Loved reading your post and glad you had such a great time there. The pictures are stunning and so inviting. Thanks for sharing.
I always have this different impression about Las Vegas but reading your article it made me realize how beautiful it is and it is now on my list to visit places when I will visit USA.
We love Las Vegas and go every March for our anniversary! Great blog post 🙂
My favourite place. You really did a good job to give ideas.
